LEAMINGTON KHALSA FOOTBALL CLUB
Leamington Khalsa was initially setup in 1970 with Junior Football teams setup in 1992. Khalsa FC is an inclusive club and we welcome players of all backgrounds and skill levels, from absolute beginners to those that want to further develop their overall game. We want to see younger players enjoy the sport and be part of a team in order to help their overall development as a young adult. We have teams from U8s to U18s at a Junior level and 2 Senior teams. Our teams play in the following Leagues: Mid Warwickshire, Coventry Football league, MJPL and Leamington District League.
HISTORY
The senior club, Leamington Khalsa Football Club, was founded in 1970 by a group of forward thinking individuals from the Asian community and have continued to help hundreds of people from all ages and cultures play together, learn from each other and help each other stay strong and united.
Community
The community in Leamington is in constant flux and institutions like Leamington Khalsa have helped in maintaining community cohesion and encouraging cultural diversity through sport. Further information about the history of the club and it’s founders, is available here.
